Ordering Guide
IMPORTANT INFORMATION - MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
In order to use the WebCHeck service your PC must meet the following minimum system requirements
- You need a minimum of Microsoft Explorer Version 4 or equivalent with JavaScript enabled.
- Company documents are downloaded using FTP (File Transfer Protocol). FTP access needs to be enabled to allow this.
Before ordering please ensure you have suitable software to view the company document or report:
- Documents are provided in two formats:
- Reports are provided in 'RTF' format, which is compatible with most Word Processing packages, such as Microsoft Word. To view a test report click HERE and ensure that you can both view and download the sample before ordering.
If you are having problems with either of the test documents please contact your Internet Service Provider.
Select the company you require
Find the company by using the Select and access company information screen
Check the information details
When you have found the company you require, those documents available to purchase will be listed on the ‘Order information for…’ screen.
Select your documents
Select the documents you wish to purchase. Each order has a £50 max. credit limit.
To test how your report will be displayed in your word processor, please right click 'HERE' and 'Save Target As…' . Specify a suitable directory on your computer in which to save the test report. The report can then be displayed from this chosen directory.
Check your order
On the Your Shopping Basket screen you can choose additional companies, remove items from your order, cancel your order, or place your secure order.
Completing your order
After agreeing the terms and conditions, the payment screen will ask you to enter:
- Your email address
- Your payment details
Our site uses NetBanx a secure payment gateway for collection of your card details. All information you provide on the payment page is encrypted.
Once all your details are entered, click the 'Proceed to Checkout' button to complete your order.
Order Confirmation
You will receive an e-mail confirmation, which will contain the direct address of your individual download area, where you can access your order.
If you are purchasing information for purposes outside of your business, please use the link to your download area from the confirmation e-mail that Companies House will send you.
Download
You will receive an email confirming your documents are available and a link to your download area. Your documents will be available for 10 days (or 4 days once accessed). After this time they will be removed whatever the status.
If you do not wish to proceed with a document do not access the document in the Download Area, then contact Companies House for a refund of the price you paid for the document. To claim that refund you should contact Companies House on +44 (0)303 1234 500 or e-mail
enquiries@companieshouse.gov.uk quoting your order reference. Any refund will be made via NetBanx by crediting your credit / debit card in pounds sterling with the amount of the refund.
