|Company Name Selection|
This screen displays the contents of the company names register in which the name you have entered appears.
The names register includes names of SEs (Societas Europaea), Limited Liability Partnerships (LLP's) as well as company names. Companies House only has the details of SE's registered in Great Britain.
If the company or LLP you are searching for is listed, click on the appropriate company number (if available). A yellow highlight indicates the closest match identified.
You can scroll through the list using Page Up/Down, the arrow keys or the scroll bar on the right of the screen.
If you want to re-enter the search criteria, scroll to either the top or bottom of the screen and input a new selection in the Company Search box.
You can identify dissolved, proposed and previous names from the Action/Event column (where no information exists under Action / Event, the company name refers to the current company record).
In the above cases, you can select any of the displayed options to obtain further details about the company or LLP.
This is the unique company number assigned by Companies House to a company or LLP when it is registered. Please note that some proposed names will not have been allocated a company number (if they have been rejected or the company has yet to be incorporated). Under these circumstances, you will not be able to obtain any further information.
